Payment Terms & Conditions

For online payments VISA and Mastercard are accepted.

By choosing to pay online, you have given the THE SOUTH AFRICAN BUSINESS COUNCIL authorization to collect due payment from the credit card submitted. The THE SOUTH AFRICAN BUSINESS COUNCIL or authorized event partner is entitled to transact the payment.

Any other payments are to be made directly to the THE SOUTH AFRICAN BUSINESS COUNCIL in cash or cheque. Please make cheque’ s payable to the South African Business Council.

Fees and prices are quoted in AED and, unless otherwise specified, are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT).

Where the payments to the THE SOUTH AFRICAN BUSINESS COUNCIL are subject to VAT, the payee shall be liable and shall pay such VAT to the THE SOUTH AFRICAN BUSINESS COUNCIL at the prescribed rate.

Refunds will be made in the same format that the payment was made in.

Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this website shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of UAE.

Events

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event will not be entitled to a refund.

Cancellations made before 48 hours of the event are entitled to a full refund.

Prepayment is required to guarantee a ticket at any event with an admission charge.

Ticket purchases on the door can incur an additional 20% surcharge on the original ticket price.

Membership

A membership year is dated 12 months from initial payment with all subsequent renewals being 12 months from the renewal date.

Full payment of membership fees is required to finalise your application as a member of the THE SOUTH AFRICAN BUSINESS COUNCIL.

Should your application be denied you will receive 100% refund of your membership fees.

Should your membership be terminated by the Committee, there will be no refund applied.

There will be no refund of membership fees should you choose to cancel your membership within the 12 month membership period.

Full payment of your renewal fees is required within 7 days of your renewal date.

Should you not pay your renewal fees within 7 days your membership will be cancelled.

Whilst in default, Members will not be entitled to voting rights.
